Day 2 Arusha to Tarangire National Park
In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha. We'll embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, traveling on well-maintained tarmac roads through the gently rolling Maasai plains adorned with scattered acacia trees. Along the way, you'll witness the vibrant sights of Maasai individuals in their colorful attire walking, cycling, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts along the roadside.
Tarangire National Park, renowned for its abundant elephant herds, also shelters a diverse array of wildlife. From the open roof of our modern safari jeep, you'll immerse yourself in the park's seasonal swamps, savannah, and the life-sustaining Tarangire River. Keep a lookout for a myriad of creatures, including zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes, among others. With luck, we may catch glimpses of lions hunting or leopards lounging in the trees above.
Following our extensive game drive, where you'll experience the rich sights and sounds of the wilderness, we'll escort you to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
