Day 1 Arrival in Arusha

An Arem Safaris representative will greet you at the airport and transport you to your lodging in Arusha, where you'll spend the night, unwind, and ready yourself for the upcoming adventures. Arusha Planet Lodge offers a serene retreat, promising both tranquility and visual delight.

Day 2 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha accommodations. Our journey to Tarangire National Park unveils the picturesque Maasai plains, where Maasai individuals engage in daily activities amidst the solitary acacia trees. Tarangire is famed for its elephant herds and diverse wildlife, spanning savannah, swamps, and the Tarangire River. From our safari vehicle, we'll spot zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. Keep an eye out for lions on the prowl and leopards in the treetops. After our exhilarating game drive, we'll retire to a mid-range lodge for dinner and rest, surrounded by the wonders of the wilderness.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, our journey continues as we ascend towards the lush highlands, where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, coffee, and corn. En route through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we'll be treated to a breathtaking vista of the Ngorongoro Crater before pressing onward to Serengeti National Park, arriving by midday. Spanning an impressive 15,000 square kilometers, Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's largest, boasting a rich tapestry of landscapes including grassy plains, wetlands, lakes, savannah, and mountains. Here, the awe-inspiring migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope unfolds, offering a spectacle of nature. Depending on the season, we may witness thousands of animals in search of sustenance and water. Following an extensive game drive, we'll journey to the Seronera Valley for an evening meal and overnight stay at your chosen accommodation.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park Full Day

Today is all about exploring the Serengeti on thrilling game drives. Known for its diverse wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, the Serengeti is famed for the annual migration of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Witness this awe-inspiring journey dictated by rainfall patterns, from woodland in the north to grasslands in the south and back again. Keep an eye out for resident predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. After an unforgettable day, we'll relax at our selected tented camp, enjoying dinner under the starlit sky.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Following an early breakfast, we'll set out for another thrilling game drive across the Serengeti. There's a chance we may encounter the renowned "Big Five" — lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards — before we embark on our journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Within the unfenced reserves, these majestic animals roam freely, offering us an unparalleled wildlife viewing experience.As we approach the rim of the crater, our anticipation builds, offering a glimpse of the splendor awaiting us the next day — pristine streams, expansive grasslands, and a diverse array of wildlife. We'll spend the evening and night at one of our meticulously selected partner accommodation properties, featuring elegantly designed restaurants and spacious rooms, ensuring your utmost comfort as you drift into dreams filled with the wonders of the African wilderness.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

ChatGPT Greet the dawn with awe-inspiring vistas as the sun rises over the crater rim. After breakfast, we'll descend into the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater, a marvel sculpted millions of years ago. This wildlife-rich wonderland hosts thousands of ungulates, elephants, and over 500 bird species. Keep an eye out for the elusive black rhinoceros. After a fulfilling game drive and picnic lunch, we'll bid farewell to the crater and return to Karatu for another night in our carefully chosen accommodations.

After breakfast, we'll head to Lake Manyara National Park, just 120 kilometers west of Arusha. The park's main feature is its shallow salt lake, home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. Alongside encountering monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and more, we might spot lions lounging in the trees. With diverse landscapes including grassy plains and woodland habitats, the park offers a rich safari experience. After our game drive, we'll return to Arusha in the late afternoon, filled with unforgettable memories of the African wilderness.
