Arem Safaris believes that people and nature are two inseparable entities and so for us to make a meaniful positive impact to the conservation of our wildlife we must take care of the needs of our people to make them feel the positive impact of tourism in their daily life. In this case the company has established an organization “ The Arem Foundation” to link and monitor all the funds flowing from the company to the community. From the 5% of all Arem’s income, we are fully supporting a children Centre in Maji ya chai ward – Arumeru district as well as environmental projects in public schools and communities in Arusha region.

Arem Safaris partners with Thrive for Good in organizing Kilimanjaro Climb to End Hunger & Malnutrition – Globally! Thrive for Good is a Canadian organization aiming at empowering people with the training and simple tools they need to grow an abundance of healthy, organic, disease-fighting foods for life — sustainably.
Arem Safaris’ Founding director Mr. Godlove helped with translation of thrive for good syllabus from English to Swahili language so that it can be used to teach the Swahili communities in Kenya and Tanzania. Translated Swahili syllabus and learning materials has made a significant impact to the community as they do now understand well the language of instruction.
