Meet the Team

Godlove Mbise and Edina Martine lead Arem Safaris as co-directors. The guides, mountain team and office follow below.

Arem Safaris is your gateway to the wildlife, landscapes, and cultures of East Africa. We are based in Maji ya Chai, Arusha, and we plan private safaris, Kilimanjaro treks, and Zanzibar combinations around the people who actually travel — not a distant brochure.

The Arem Safaris Team you WhatsApp before the trip is the same circle of colleagues who meet you, drive the parks and walk the mountain.

Godlove Mbise

Godlove was born and raised in Meru, close to Mount Meru and a short way from Kilimanjaro. After a master’s degree in education he taught college courses until 2010, then turned a lifelong love of Tanzania’s parks into Arem Safaris and into guiding himself.

He still plans safaris and mountain treks with a guide’s eye: routes, culture, and the small decisions that make a day in the bush feel unhurried. Guests meet that same care from the first quote through the last game drive.

Edina Martine

Edina has helped lead Arem Safaris since the company began in 2014. She grew up in Sekei, at the foot of Mount Meru, and knows the Arusha and Kilimanjaro region as home, not as a destination on a map.

She studied Public Administration and Human Resource Management at the University of Dar es Salaam, joined Arem as human resources lead, and now shares sales, marketing, and the day-to-day running of the company with Godlove. Her work is why guests from many countries find a calm, organised start in Arusha.

Clara Mosha

Clara is the first detailed conversation many travellers have with Arem Safaris. She matches dates, lodge style and group size to a workable route, then stays in touch until the quote is right — a relationship, not a one-line booking.

Mountain climbing team

Arem Safaris trains and mentors Tanzanian guides who want a career on Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, and Ol Doinyo Lengai. Dickson, Raymond, Lazaro, and Elias came through that path. They have led more than a hundred expeditions, including large groups with Thrive for Good in Canada, and they still treat every summit attempt as a safety job first.

Our safari guides come from wildlife-management training and years on the northern circuit. They read tracks, birds, and the mood of a pride, and they keep the vehicle a respectful distance. Guest ratings stay high because the day is explained, not rushed.
